Connecticut citizens to turn in guns

This article contains a scanned copy of the letter being received by residents of Connecticut stating that they, personally, did not meet the deadline for registering their "assault weapons and/or large capacity magazines." As a consequence they are now directed to dismantle or in some way make the firearm inoperable and to do the same to the magazines. Or...they can sell the items to a licensed gun dealer or turn them in to their local police. Bottom line...the Governor of the State of Connecticut does not want residents of Connecticut to possess "assault rifles". I put the term in quotes because gun grabbing political figures call a lot of firearms "assault" weapons when what the FBI and the Military define as assault weapons are those that are Fully Automatic...only. Americans Can own fully automatic weapons but they Must apply for a special class 3 permit from the Bureau of Tobacco, Firearms, Alcohol and Explosives which is by no means an easy task to accomplish so..for the rest of us peasants it is Semi Automatic rifles down to single shot. The gun grabbers call any rifle that is decorated with black paint or black plastic accessories an assault weapon per Diane Feinstein or Barbara Boxer. 

Last month pictures were all over the internet of Connecticut residents standing in line to register their guns and America sighed. Today Connecticut residents (more than 90%) have NOT shown up to register nor have they mailed in the form. This is going to be a test of wills between the Government of Connecticut (Governor on down) and the residents of Connecticut as to who will back down first. I believe the Governor will allow Law Enforcement to knock in some doors to scare the rest of the sheep and in some cases bullets may fly. We can hope that cooler heads would prevail but if it doesn't happen here it will happen somewhere else in the near future. Tempers are growing shorter with every passing week we learn of Government mishandling of funds, of projects which negatively impact the people of that state (the unemployed in particular) and more and more talk from the media of how patriotism is bad because of blah blah blah...etc.

This situation is important and I wait to see if the Mainstream media will cover this situation at all or will they talk more about Michelle Obama going off somewhere again to spend millions of our tax dollars on another vacation to get over the fact that hubby did another selfy and posted it to facebook. The media wants to paint us a picture of imaginary things and turn our attention and focus from how our elected leaders are tearing our country and our ability to worship, to live and to grow from our grasp. Only a closed and dead mind would cling to the notion that All of Society must live in a certain way, believe in a certain way and love in a certain way or those who disagree must be re-programmed. I consider them cowards and haters of freedom, liberty and Godly living. Jesus told us already in His own words that He did not come to re-write the Law of God but to fulfill it. He told us He is like a two edged sword splitting bone from marrow. Separating father from son, mother from daughter and on down the family tree - why? - because as human beings each of us individually will at some point in our life decide who we are and how we will live out our existence on this planet, that is the power and purpose of free will. Jesus knew and accepted as we should accept that not all would choose Him and His ways of life. Many of us know family or friends who have many differences from ourselves and we may or may not accept that but when a person chooses differently from the ways of God (listed and noted in the Bible) then they make a choice of eternal consequences. 

I am not for people to be carbon copies of one another but I also believe God gives us room to live out His commandments in different ways but the end result is that we live to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. A society that chooses to embrace and welcome pedophiles and living in the ways of self gratification and of love of material things has already walked away from God's commandments. The first four of the Ten Commandments outline for us how we are to live out our relationship with God our Father and the six remaining commandments explain how to live out our faithfulness to God with our neighbor (family, friends and strangers). Occasionally we all will fall down on at least one of these commandments and God's law states that to break one commandment is reason for death so what is a person to do? Enter in Jesus who came to accept our faults and failures before God and with us accepting His passion and death as payment for our mistakes (sin ) He has guaranteed for us eternal life with Him and our Heavenly Father for all time. An exchange of sorts that God has allowed and ordained and guaranteed for all eternity if we drop our pride and humble ourselves to ask Him for forgiveness and mercy. I challenge you to consider the ways of this world right now and ask yourself if you can see the separation of society, of culture and morals. If so then you now see the separation Jesus speaks about, this is why family or friends would be torn apart because the ways of the world feed that fleshly mentality and the ways of Jesus, the ways he listened and loved others, the ways he loved God the Father and the extent He went to so as to guarantee our acceptance into God's eternal Kingdom are not about material items or pleasures but more about love, a love that cannot be bought or sold, therefore it will be forever, unchanged.

How does this all fit into what is going on in Connecticut you now ask? Good question and I will give my interpretation: a government that will not allow me a way to defend my life or that of my family does not trust me to do the right thing for the right reason. That government does not have regard for my life or the lives of my family and would rather leave me exposed and vulnerable to the evils that you and I both know exist everywhere in this world. Secondly if a man is not respected enough to allow him to live how he sees fit and to follow God how he believes he should without doing any harm to anyone else, that man is not living in a world where the fact that he was created and exists is not being appreciated and he is not seen as an equal in the sight of God as one of His creation but rather he is seen as a subject or servant who's master(s) have stripped him of his rights as an individual and a complete creation of God. That to me is what the founders of this country were stating in the Declaration of Independence,

"We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and happiness."


Our founders recognized the importance and necessity of including God in the equation and through the eyes of faith chose to see each and every individual as a single creation of Almighty God and therefore “fearfully and wonderfully made.”

I will not debate on the theology of the founders but rather point out they recognized the importance of God in their life and ours and the life of this country.

There is a segment of society growing more every day that has lost sight of this and has chosen to remain blind to it and without this predisposed position of how to view ourselves and each other we are turning into the Republic of China or Russia where the people living there are subjects or slaves, they have no unalienable rights but rather permissions granted them by the person in charge at that moment. The Governor of Connecticut is beginning to view his constituents as subjects and not as fearfully and wonderfully made creations whom are the property of the one who made them…God Almighty. The Governor and his people (team) are losing respect for people and seeing them as sheep and are moving to oppress them to the point of removing their means of self protection, possibly by force which will change Connecticut residents to servants or subjects and not free men and women under God.

 There is a separation coming and we see it before our eyes. It will not be avoided because this is something God The Father and Jesus through the Holy Spirit set in motion over 2000 years ago and what was begun by His hand will be fulfilled. Brace yourselves and choose today which house you will serve, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth and in doing so I recognize my brother and sister of creation as having the unalienable right to defend themselves or their loved ones and not be dependent or enslaved to any government agency for such a thing because the loyalties of that agency can and could change with the shift of the wind leaving people vulnerable and helpless in the face of true evil, that is a heartless way to treat anyone. Jesus reminded the rich man and He reminds us of the two greatest commandments of all; “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.” Let us pray the Governor of Connecticut comes to his senses and chooses to love his constituents instead of ruling over them.

  

Is this my solo hour?

How to write, what to write for it has been so long. I used to send things to people that didn't ask for it because I felt I had a message to share. I felt God was speaking to my heart and I wanted to share those revelations, those epiphanies with others. Not days or weeks or months but for years I did this and only a small amount of times did I ever hear back from any of them. Those that I might meet in public would bring up my writing and say kind things and be very sincere and I thanked them for their kindness. But I couldn't help walking away with a hollow feeling that they were being ..nice. I questioned their motives but I later realized I should accept gifts when they are given and not look too deeply at the intentions. Receiving is just as important as is the giving. I do not hold it against them and I thank God they had kind words and not bitter words for my ego is fragile and my writing is a bearing of my soul in many ways. I know we are not all on the same wave length but I wanted to connect with someone, finding connection is difficult.

Looking for connection is putting your heart out in your hand and walking forward and hoping that no one slaps it out of your grip. That they would give you wide birth and allow you to move forward and speak and preach and say what you want and listen...oh to just listen and consider what I have to say. I do not speak much but when I have something to say I want people to listen. Listening to me means turning off their present line of thought and to focus on my words, to intake them and contemplate on them for at least the rest of the day before discarding them.  Writing or speaking while no one is even looking at you speaks to me as, "we don't care about you or your words. What you say and who you are is insignificant to us and we could care less." It is the concept in my mind that I am taking up space, that I'm an oxygen thief and I have just interrupted their day. How does one get over that feeling? How does a writer get past the notion that since they aren't listening that I should just shut up and hope and wait and see if they come around? 

Will they? How long will I wait? Not long because the hurt of being ignored is very taxing on the spirit and I will not allow myself to be rung out like that any more. So time goes by and the message grows moldy, the level of urgency of the message has long faded and now holds no context.  What do I do then, write and let nature take its course or wait until they begin to realize they have overlooked me and now they need to give me their attention. I do not believe the latter will ever take place, it is not natural and would only happen through super natural intervention to which I do not believe I should wait for God to thump them on the head and hope they pay attention, why should they? Jesus himself spoke to the people and many turned away, many ignored Him and some dismissed Him as a nut case. I follow Him and if it happened to my Master then it will surely happen to me. No, I have learned through doing that a writer, a preacher, a singer is only an instrument and the melody that flows through that instrument makes a particular sound and some may hear that sound and squinch their eyes and plug their ears because the melody is unpleasing to them. Others will give a listen in kindness but later forget all about it and a very few will think it is the most beautiful music they have ever heard. That it is a melody that resonates within them, it makes them dream daydreams and lifts their hearts. That is the task of the writer, singer or preacher to make THEIR kind of music, tell their brand of message and allow the melody to fall where it may. To examine the message is to question the source and if you question that source to be of Heavenly origin then you can check it by the fruits of the Spirit as given by God Himself. 

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5: 22-23

This is the measuring scale by which we can know that our message is grounded in God and given to us by faith, in faith that we will deliver it to the appointed receivers. We are but transmitters for a voice with the sound of many waters, a rushing wind, a clap of thunder. God's voice is a whisper in the breeze or is a tap of rain dripping off a metal roof and landing on a rusty bucket turned upside down. It is never the voice that captivates us, it may at first because that is God's plan to hook us and pull us in but when we open our hearts and ears to hear then we hear the melody and we allow the music to resonate within our soul then we will know if the melody, the message was meant for us.  I must go out and find those who can hear my music, read my words and play music for them. I must share the notes and tunes the great Conductor has placed inside of me. I must set myself free in order to follow Him.

Senator John Kerry spoke yesterday afternoon on television about Syria and it was all short of his mouthing the words, "declaration of war."

Please look over the article link pasted above. They have been building up to this for the past year and now it will be a reality. Wars and rumors of wars but this is no rumor, yes people are dying in Syria and chemical weapons could be partly responsible but we only know as much as the government and lame stream media want to tell us. Sources from Europe and elsewhere tell us more but the images are still the same, the U.S. will soon be nose to nose with Russia and China over taking action in Syria and Israel is going to be putting in their two cents worth also. God's word in the book of Revelation tells us there will be wars taking place and a person will arise to bring peace back to the world and that person is the anti-christ (the person NOT anointed) he is the person God's revelation to John speaks of as bringing death and destruction to the earth. The governments running the world right now are bent on war and have been telling us this for months if not years. The financial economy of the globe is in a dismal place and if something is not done soon to correct it there will be a financial collapse the likes of which the world has not seen. I believe as do many others that it is the intention of these leaders to spin the world into war of immense proportions in order to create more spending thus propelling the mechanism they have created to move more cash through their system. More money flow, more spending and more ease on the economy and their system is once again in full swing. They are short-sighted as usual and this will not be a final answer to the world's woes but it is all they have since they do not put their faith and trust in the Lord God, they only rely on themselves and their ways and means. This also will result in the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of our people in our military and of foreign militaries, they will be doing their duty but their leadership is what is misguided.

The only way to stop what is about to happen is a complete removal of all leadership around the world who knowingly take part in this plan of murder and theft but neither you or myself have that power, only the Lord God and I believe He will allow them to stay in order that humanity sees and feels the results of what it means to live in and participate in a society who has chosen to walk away from Him and to listen only to themselves. It is deeply rooted within the heart of man to lie, steal and kill, the biblical evidence for this first of all is the story of Adam and Eve who disobeyed God by eating of the forbidden fruit and then lying to Him about who's fault it was, neither of them would take responsibility upon themselves but pushed it off onto someone else finally pinning the offense on a reptile with neither arms or legs but somehow was able in one conversation break the bond between Adam and Eve and God Himself by suggesting they could be on the same level with God (same motive lucifer had for wanting to take over Heaven).

Cane and Abel, they were asked by God the Father that upon the time of harvest that they would present their best and first fruits to God as a sign and symbol of thanks. This act would collect food that could have been administered to the poor people of the community and equally would continue to foster a relationship between Cane, Abel and God. God provides the fertile land and brings the rain and sun to grow the crops and Cane and Abel put forth the toil in the field and gather it in when ripe. They would keep 90 percent of what they collected for their own use but for Cane that was not good enough. He not only brought God the Father poor fruit but also cheated on the amount and God knew this and rewarded Abel for being true in heart and deed. This angered Cane and when he saw the opportunity he struck Abel on the head with a rock and killed him. Many other stories exist in the Bible which reflect the true heart of people who chose to be apart from God. God the Father provides the component in our spiritual make-up which brings us mercy, kindness and grace. We can try our best at times to extend this to our friends and family but will soon grow weary of it and find ourselves losing interest in them and wanting to leave their company. God can infill in us those components that are of Him, are of His character and virtue, those parts which cannot be programmed into us once and for all because these virtues, these gifts are from one's spirit and faith and we mere mortals were constructed from the earth, made from mud in the palm of God the Father's hand and life breathed into our nostrils out from the mouth of God himself. Our flesh and bone come from the earth as we know from simple biology that we are made up of twenty dollars worth of chemicals and water but it is the missing component, the God Component that cannot come from made things (God made the earth and all that is in it...see Genesis) the God Component must come from osmosis, it must rub off from the source, we must gather and collect this component by relationship just as Abel did.

The earth and its inhabitants are thirsting for and hungering for their God Component and do not see it because they are blinded by things like televisions, computers, Itunes and Ipods and Ipads and all sorts of gadgets that fill our silence and keep us from being alone with ourselves and with Him. While people of this planet distract and evade the spiritual issue they do not focus on that which they cannot buy from Wal-Mart, there is no isle in the store for God Components and if there were it would be made in China (Godless society) and would be a fake and a fraud. The labels we see today may read Craftsman or Maytag but you and I know there is a difference and NO, it is not made the same as before and we both know that. Mankind will continue as a whole to fabricate their own version of the God Component in the way of compassion, they will soon say (some saying it now) that allowing the lame and retarded to die is compassionate, the old, sick and dying to take a pill and allow them to fall asleep and die is compassionate, to kill off those in poor countries who have no food is compassionate but they will not stop to think that Jesus did no such thing and this way of thinking is a perversion and a lie of His teachings and example. Jesus healed whom He knew must be healed and fed the hungry with real food, He loved those who were alone and afraid and He poured out His life for us all so that none would ever have to die forever but all could know eternity by His side in Heaven. He wants us for His neighbors and family, He has done all He can do to ensure that no matter what anyone has in their past that it can all be blotted out and forgotten in God's eyes by making a clear choice to call out to Him and ask for His forgiveness and to open your heart to Him and ask for His God Component to the instilled in your soul. At this point though I must tell you that a person who does this also opens themselves to risk and retribution coming from the world around them. Being open to God and accepting the death of God's son Jesus as payment for sin and of their own sins is also accepting the call and responsibility of taking on the life of Christ Jesus here on earth and sharing His good news with others, to share your story of the God Component in your heart and life and to share the fruit of this new life with others. In doing so we in effect are being like Abel, we are taking what is ripe and good and delicious to the human soul and offering it without cost or strings attached. This is the true calling of a follower of Christ Jesus and a disciple of the God-Man named Jesus of Nazareth, it is not a calling that has no cost, you may incur insult or grief for your decision by those who do not know or understand what you have done. They will not understand why you or anyone would give over control of their life to someone who they cannot see, touch or feel but you will have the assurance from God's printed Word that He will neither leave you nor forsake you even in the time of trial or death.

The world is about to embark upon a new leg of its journey without God and His love dwelling in their hearts and minds and we will all stand back and watch God's prophecy given to John unfold before us and the whole world. Remember, He is your heavenly Father and wants nothing more than to hear from you, if you have not made peace with Him for your past mistakes and sinful ways then please do so soon, do it for yourself and do it for all those in your family and friends who look up to you for they too deserve to know about the God Component and to be one with Him. Jesus will return for His church, this is true because it is written in His inspired word to us all and He will take His church home with Him but first there will great tribulations and trials before us that we will go through whether we like it or not. Jesus told us that all who follow Him and love God the Father (Abba) would be subject to all that He was subject to. He tells us in His own words that the world hated him before it hated His followers and that all that He went through so would His church go through, how long that period is to be only God the Father knows for sure but the fact and reality remains that we are here today and we need the God Component to enable us to make it until Jesus returns.
