Do you have a Bug-Out-Bag...a B.O.B?

I direct your attention to Cheaperthandirt's article about how to equip a b.o.b
This is put together in a hand bag or best choice a back pack with a support frame.
Inside among many items is a water bottle capable of filtering water to make it safe for drinking, this is more practical to carry than gallons of water. Remember the saying, "Two is one and one is none." Clint Smith.
Special items such as a water bottle can be damaged our punctured, it would be better to have two, hence, two is one and one is none. If you have a friend, spouse, significant other they can carry their own b.o.b and a water bottle. If you have a dog they can carry a small pack on their back filled with their food and some of your supplies (given the size of your dog).

"This type of “grab it and go” methodology is very important to adhere to when assembling your own Bug-Out-Bag. The smallest component of your bug-out setup should be a backpack sized bag that is easy to carry, but which can contain the bare minimum of necessary survival gear."

P.S. A type of water bottle to look at that will filter gallons of water and is portable and will filter down to .015 microns or better : http://www.amazon.com/Lifesaver-Bottle-4000-Ultra-Filtration/dp/B001EHF99A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1300413373&sr=8-2
