At the bottom of this post is a link to a message delivered from Pat Robertson from the 700 Club. If you do not like him, don't want to hear it, then come back again for a different post.
For those of you who are interested, curious, are keeping up with current events and will listen, what you hear may not sound any different that what is being said through many other sources. I do believe many things he is saying, not because Pat Robertson is saying it but because I can use my own eyes and brain to see what is going on around the world. I am seeing more unrest in Europe and it is beginning in small spurts in this country. If you don't think so then you can go on ignoring the obvious or you can look at European news from the BBC or look on the internet, it's all there. I do believe the church is coming under more attacks.
Things are out there folks and they aren't like taking a trip through Disney World. We can choose to plug our ears but that won't make the storm go away. Some church leaders want to settle the uneasiness of their congregation and tell them not to be concerned and that is their choice but I will do my own thinking for myself and my family and I will take actions and act in a way to help secure my family from those things I know can become a critical need. Times are hard and it's going to become harder and if you are not putting back food in your house today I suggest you do it very soon. Drinkable water stored in reusable five gallon containers spread out in different rooms of the house so that if a water line becomes out of service, you have water to get you through. A person can survive days without food, its not fun but it is done all the time. What you cannot survive without past 72 hours is water, drinkable, potable water. Right now it flows cheaply from your tap in your sink or bathtub spout. When the water pipes break or the power to the water plant goes out then there is little to no water pressure and what is in the line will soon be gone because people will continue to flush toilets and not think about saving the water for drinking.
That is enough for now. I'm not meaning to sound all intense about this but I am only attempting to wake some people up out of their slumber of complaisance and ask them to look at the temporal world we live in. Just as tomorrow is not guaranteed to us so neither is the water or food in the grocery store shelves.

Could fleas be a blessing from God?
Up until now I would not have thought so but after I read this article I began to see things differently: thankfulness in tribulation
The story is very good and includes ideas and thoughts that everyone could use to dwell on this time of year. We wake up tomorrow and it will be a new calendar year, a clean slate if it were, an opportunity to have all things new. We must remember to not see our problems and situations as the world sees them but rather through the eyes of our faith. I pray you a happy New Year.
Our God is all around, it is up to us to ask to see Him,

My Favorite Christmas Song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zR9-PA64KUM
This day I remember the good news about Christmas, Christmas is a reminder that at some point in history God so loved the world in all its sin and error that He sent us His only Son so that Son would be in our care, just an infant and we would raise him up and he would live with us, joke with us and cry with us. That Son later created the bridge in the form of a cross that would forever more make a pathway to God’s door, never to be blocked. To me this is the celebrative reason for this season. We were given a gift so fine, so pure and so simple that we can live a lifetime and still not mentally intake it all. A gift to bring us home, to the loving arms of the One who created us and placed us here on earth. Please read Psalm 139, we have all been there and we have all done things that the person next to us could judge unforgivable but I am thankful that only He is the true judge and He has said, “It is finished.” Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.
Peace .
